Whoaaa, you guys. I just realized I haven't posted anything for the month of February. I've been so busy, I just finally took a breath.
I've been working really hard on some custom wreath orders, which I absolutely love doing because it really pushes my creative boundaries.
One was for a baby shower and the other two were both for newly married couples. I'm pretty proud of how they turned out.
Okay, so I didn't make the Hello Kitty toy but I did make everything else on this custom peach & turquoise shower wreath. |
The buyer requested a Bollywood themed wreath in the couple's wedding colors of navy and burgundy. |
I hand made the guitar and soccer charms from polymer clay. |
The Bride was into spicy foods and shopping. |
I made the DLSR camera made from clay following a tutorial from Pinterest. The lens is just cooled hot glue. |
The Bride was into crafts and baking. |
In between making these lovely creations, I've been able to take a mini-vacation to Austin, I will post the pics later this week.
Work has been ramping up and I haven't been able to devote much time to the blog but have no fear! I will come back at ya'll with more Nerd Rants, more City Exploration guides, and one special DIY.
Stay tuned....and thanks for visiting! You have no idea how much I love to hear from you guys.
Omg those wreaths are ace! Especially the last one (v.clever camera) you have some serious skills! Also, as a big futurama fan, loving the way you announced your return to the blog :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you! Yes, Futurama is the best!
